I hate Valentines Day. February 13 Alone and Forgotton...The thunder rumbled overhead,the lightning flashed, and the rain poured down.
I fell to my knees, then I was on my stomach.
My face streaked with rain and tears.
I wept for my loss.
My face buried in the long grass.
It cradled my broken body and held me safe.
I looked up and the last drop of rain fell.
Then it was over, my body lay limp on the ground.
The glow gone from my eyes.
No one would find me...
no one would care.
I would lay there forever.
No one would look for me.
No one loved me, and I loved no one.
I was alone and forgotton. |
